But let me clear the air on some things here.

First i am not scum. I am just a student.

Second , this is no phishing scam.I am not asking you for any credit
card information.

Third. You did not like what i posted here ? You have every right to
say so.But are commercial posts of this type really spam when posted to
the Usenet ? There are many other of the same type daily. But you never
bother to blast them like you did in my case.

was when I needed to bill something to it when a customer purchased
something from me. When I need to do that I just run the appropriate
charge against it through my merchant account. If it goes through,
everything's A-Ok. If it doesn't, I don't ship the merchandize and
notify the customer. :-)

You are right there but that is what i want. Can you direct me to a
merchant account where i can check the credit worthiness(credit limit)
of the customer's credit card too.

In my country we do not have credit bureaus like in the US. So it is
just impossible to know the customer's financial standing. Also there
is no SSN system yet in India, the only way out is credit check for my
kind of service offering.

And since the card issuing banks have already taken the pains to find
that out for putting up a credit limit for their customers, i too can
easily use this piece of information.

Please Help.
